Jimmy Kimmel will be back on air on ABC with Jimmy Kimmel Live! following ‘thoughtful conversations’ with the broadcasting network, they have seen them decided to reinstate the show
Jimmy Kimmel is returning to the air after he was removed from ABC’s broadcasting schedule at the last minute “indefinitely” over his comments about Charlie Kirk.
A statement from Jimmy Kimmel Live read, “Last Wednesday, we decided to suspend production on the show to avoid further inflaming a tense situation at an emotional moment for our country.
We made this decision because we felt some of the comments were ill-timed and thus insensitive.
“We have spent the last days having thoughtful conversations with Jimmy, and after those conversations, we reached the decision to return the show on Tuesday.”
ABC made the call to suspend the show following backlash over Kimmel’s remarks regarding the k:i;l;l:i:n:g of Conservative activist Kirk.

The move came mere hours after FCC Chairman Brendan Carr issued warnings to the Network and its affiliates that action would be taken unless measures were implemented.
Carr unleashed his fury after Kimmel delivered a monologue on Monday, September 15, making comments about the suspect in Kirk’s assassination, 22-year-old Tyler Robinson.
He declared, “We had some new lows over the weekend with the MAGA gang desperately trying to characterize this kid who murdered Charlie Kirk as anything other than one of them and with everything they can to score political points from it.”
Carr slammed the statement during his appearance on Benny Johnson’s podcast, declaring, “We can do this the easy way or the hard way.
These companies can find ways to change conduct, to take action, frankly, on Kimmel, or there’s going to be additional work for the FCC ahead.”

Nexstar Communications Group, which runs 23 ABC affiliates, branded Kimmel’s remarks “offensive and insensitive,” prompting ABC to take action.
Kimmel remained silent on the decision, but President Donald Trump seized his opportunity to take aim at the host, declaring on his Truth Social platform, “Congratulations to ABC for finally having the courage to do what had to be done.”
However, many spoke out against the decision, including former president Barack Obama, who slammed the decision to remove Kimmel from the air as “cancel culture.”
He posted on X, “After years of complaining about cancel culture, the current administration has taken it to a new and dangerous level by routinely threatening regulatory action against media companies unless they muzzle or fire reporters and commentators it doesn’t like.”
He added, “This is precisely the kind of government coercion that the First Amendment was designed to prevent – and media companies need to start standing up rather than capitulating to it.”

💥 “NO CAMERAS. NO PRESS. JUST THREE NAMES THE WORLD THOUGHT THEY KNEW.” 🌪️ When the Category-5 monster Hurricane Melissa tore through Jamaica, help was nowhere in sight. Then — without a single announcement — a private jet touched down at dawn. Inside: Rachel Maddow. Stephen Colbert. Joy Reid. No sponsors. No cameras. No entourage. They brought 5 tons of food, medicine, water filters, and $1.5 million in aid, all paid from their own pockets. Locals said they worked through the night — lifting boxes, feeding children, treating wounds — not a single word about fame or press. And when a volunteer asked why they came, Joy Reid quietly answered: “Because the news doesn’t need to cover this — humanity does.” By morning, they were gone. No selfies. No headlines. Just whispers spreading across the island — “Were those really them?” Nobody knows who leaked the flight manifest. But one thing’s certain: this wasn’t charity. This was rebellion — against the silence of comfort. 🕯🌎 👇 Full uncovered story before it disappears…|KF
