There’s a huge wealth disparity between these rich men and the average person in the U.S.
Even a fraction of one of these mogul’s money could forever change the average worker’s life and even set their future generations up for success.
GOBankingRates wanted to find out exactly how much each American would get if these three billionaires split their worth equally between every citizen.
How Much Are Musk, Bezos and Buffett worth?

Musk, 53, is currently worth $434.9 billion, Bezos, 51, is currently worth $237.1 billion and Buffett, 94, is currently worth $143.3 billion. Altogether, that’s $815.3 billion.
Just for reference, Musk is worth more than 6 million times the average American salary.
Bezos is worth more than 3 million times and Buffett is worth more than 2 million times the average American salary.
How Many Americans Currently Live in the US?
According to Census.gov, the current population in the U.S. is 341,198,407.
How Much Would Each American Get?
The calculation came out to $2,389.52. To the average American, this would be like getting one extra paycheck.
How Much Does the Average American Earn in Their Lifetime?
Georgetown University released data that showed the median lifetime earnings for an American is about $1.7 million.
On the other hand, Musk is worth more than 200,000 times what a typical person makes their entire life.
The same study from Georgetown said it costs $130,000 a year or $3.4 million over a lifetime to achieve the “American Dream,” which includes benchmarks like hospital birth for a child, typical wedding ring costs, costs to raise two children to the age of 18, purchasing 10 cars, buying a home and so on.
The amount of Americans that make $130,000 a year or more is around 40% of the population, which means most people in the country do not achieve the American Dream.
Meanwhile, Buffett is worth enough to achieve the American Dream over 40,000 times.
Bezos can achieve the American Dream almost 70,000 times with his total worth. Musk could achieve it over 100,000 times.
