The authorities revealed a chilling 15-word note Tyler Robinson left for his lover after allegedly shooting and killing Charlie Kirk

The authorities revealed the contents of a 15-word note they believe Tyler Robinson shared with his lover before allegedly shooting and killing conservative commentator Charlie Kirk last Wednesday.

“I had the opportunity to take out Charlie Kirk, and I’m going to take it,” he allegedly wrote on a note left under his keyboard.

His lover, who was also his roommate, discovered it after the news of Kirk’s shooting broke, a press conference heard.

Robinson was expected to appear in court for the first time since his arrest this weekend to face charges of aggravated murder and obstruction of justice, according to Utah County Attorney Jeff Gray.

The 22-year-old turned himself in to the authorities, per Gray, on the evening of Sept. 11, arriving at the Washington County Sheriff’s Office with his parents and a family friend, who convinced him to turn himself in.

Gray said Robinson’s mother saw the photo of the suspected shooter on the news and thought the man looked like her son, so she called him and asked where he was.

He told her he was at home sick and that he had been home sick on Sept. 10, too.

Worried, she spoke to her husband, Gray said, and he agreed that the shooter looked like their son.

Over the last year, Robinson reportedly became “more political and had started to lean more to the left,” his mother told the authorities.

Potential motive behind shooting revealed

Gray revealed a possible motive behind the shooting, stating that Robinson said in messages obtained by law enforcement, “There is too much evil in the guy,” referring to Kirk.

In texts with his lover, Robinson allegedly said he had to kill Kirk when the opportunity presented itself.

According to Gray, Robinson told his lover, “I had enough of his hatred.

Some hate can’t be negotiated out. If I am able to grab my rifle unseen, I will have left no evidence.”

He added in later messages that he was going to turn himself in to the authorities but slammed his father’s alleged MAGA politics.

Police said another message joked about the inscriptions he allegedly wrote on the bullets, which he said were memes.
