Karoline Leavitt was slammed by Karine Jean-Pierre

Karine Jean-Pierre, former White House press secretary for Joe Biden, had a brutal word for Karoline Leavitt.

The 51-year-old political advisor was a guest on The View on Tuesday, October 21.

During her time on the show, she talked about her new book Independent: A Look Inside a Broken White House, Outside the Party Lines.

Karine also reflected on her former position as Biden’s White House press secretary, as well as being asked about Karoline, who is Donald Trump’s White House press secretary.

Sunny Hostin asked Karine if she had any advice for Karoline in regards to the “decorum” of that position.

Before Karine went into any advice, she said she had to respond to the first clip the panel played of Karoline on Fox News saying the Democratic Party’s main constituency is “made up of Hamas terrorists, illegal aliens, and violent criminals.”

Karine said in response to the video, “hearing that, it’s deplorable” and explained why she was using that word “on purpose.”

They also showed Karine, a screenshot Karoline posted on X of her texts with a reporter, along with the Fox News clip.

The reporter asked Karoline “who suggested Budapest as the meeting ground for Trump and Russian President Vladimir Putin”.

The screenshot showed Karoline responded to the journalist with “your mom did.”

“They don’t seem to understand, this isn’t Trump’s White House, they don’t work for just one man.

They work for the American people. It is about coming together about a common good.

The White House press secretary is not about doing online trolling, is it not.” Karine explained.

“It is an honor and a privilege to have that job and to speak on behalf of the most powerful person in the world.

And there is a level of respect for the freedom of the press even if you disagree with them,” she added.

Sunny then asked Karine if Karoline should just stop with her fiery behavior.

Karine answered that she feels it is not “appropriate” to engage in online trolling and attack people in that way.

She further elaborated that particular behavior doesn’t help with the partisanship that is being seen right now.

She reiterated that the White House is supposed to be about every person who lives in America.

Sunny injected that she thinks Karoline needs to “grow up.”
