Hollywood star Tom Cruise, 63, has reportedly ended his brief relationship with actress Ana de Armas, 37.
The pair, who were first linked in February, kept their romance under wraps before going public in the spring.
Despite being spotted on numerous dates, it seems they’ve decided to call it quits, realizing they’re better off as friends.
Reports suggest that the relationship “ran its course” and Tom and Ana “aren’t dating anymore”
An insider revealed, “They just realized they weren’t going to go the distance and that they are better off as mates.
The spark had gone between them, but they still love each other’s company, and they’ve both been really adult about it.”
It comes after the New York native was labeled a “man child” by his Mission Impossible co-star.
The source further told The Sun, “She’s already been cast in his next film, so they will continue to work together.”

The couple confirmed their relationship after months of rumors when they were seen hand in hand in Woodstock, Vermont.
They were spotted strolling down a quiet street with a small group of friends, holding hands, reports the Mirror.
This public display of affection came shortly after the duo was spotted in London.
They reportedly traveled together on Tom’s private helicopter and attended one of the Oasis concerts at Wembley Stadium.
Earlier in July, Tom and Ana were also spotted vacationing in Menorca, Spain, where they were photographed unwinding together aboard a luxury yacht, and they appeared relaxed and affectionate with one another.
While neither has publicly acknowledged a romantic connection, their frequent outings and shared travel arrangements have led many to suspect they are more than friends.
The two performers were first connected on Valentine’s Day after being observed dining together in London.
Their encounter was initially characterized as business-related, but their ongoing time together has fueled speculation.

Two months later, Ana and Tom were seen in the capital once more as they marked her birthday.
According to a source who spoke to Mail Online, Cruise was “showering Ana with gifts ever since they met.”
They continued: “First, it started with her favourite flowers, then books he thought she would want to read because she’s an avid reader.
As they got to know each other, the gifts became more personal – jewellery, designer clothes, and more.
“Probably the biggest gift he has given her is the freedom to travel anywhere in the world at a moment’s notice.”
Ana was previously believed to be dating Manuel Anido Cuesta, the stepson of Cuba’s president.
Tom was formerly connected to Russian socialite Elsina Khayrova.
He was also wed to actress Nicole Kidman, who recently announced her shock split from husband Keith Urban after 19 years of marriage.
Following her split from Tom, Nicole found love with American country crooner Keith Urban.
The couple tied the knot in 2006 and have two daughters together.
