His Super Bowl LX appearance has made history as the most watched halftime show in the NFL‘s history.

A staggering 135.4 million viewers tuned in to watch Bad Bunny perform at Levi’s Stadium in Santa Clara, California, according to the Daily Mail.

The Puerto Rican performed his set as the Seattle Seahawks walked off the field at halftime with a 9-0 lead against the New England Patriots.

His performance featured several major celebrities including Cardi B, 33, and Pedro Pascal, 50.

Bad Bunny appeared on stage wearing a white football jersey and a $75,000 gold watch.

He has sparked rumors of a new album as he wiped his social media accounts before the show,

Bad Bunny spectacularly pulled in nearly two million more viewers than Kendrick Lamar, 38, did last year.

Lamar’s Super Bowl LIX show gained a still-impressive 133.5 million viewers according to Billboard in 2025.

There has been a steady increase in Super Bowl halftime viewership since Jay-Z’s Roc Nation took over the production in 2019.

In fact, there has been a year-on-year increase seen annually since Rihanna‘s Super Bowl LVII show for the 2022 season.

The pre-Roc Nation record is held by Katy Perry, 41, with 121 million viewers at Super Bowl XLIX.

This game saw the Patriots beat the Seahawks 28-24 before meeting again at the showpiece event 11 years later.

Bad Bunny’s record-setting performance is even more remarkable considering Turning Point USA put on their own rival show featuring Kid Rock, 55.

Former Patriots quarterback Tom Brady, 48, has shared his love for the set as fans swarm social media to praise Bad Bunny.

“Such an iconic Super Bowl performance wow,” one fan wrote on X.

“Bad Bunny owned the Super Bowl halftime show and brought the whole country with him,” another viewer shared.

The rapper sent a message to President Donald Trump, 79, during his performance calling for love to triumph over hatred.

He then closed the show by holding up a football reading “Together we are America,” before the Seahawks claimed victory against the Patriots.
