He is claimed by the prosecution to have used his phone to ask about what to do with an “unresponsive person” and injuries that would fit someone falling in the shower.

Perpetuo, 29, was pronounced dead at the scene in the couple’s Tennessee house on February 5.

She was discovered topless with alcohol bottles around the home.

Ex-New York Jets player Lee is now accused of going on popular AI bot ChatGPT with the aforementioned questions.

He is said to have been the one to call 911, with Lee also facing charges of tampering with evidence and a wrongful-death lawsuit.

Police bodycam footage from those attending to the incident show Lee claiming to not know what had happened to her and saying she “may have slipped and fallen in the shower.”

Hamilton County Sheriff’s Office Detective Brian Lockhart revealed that Perpetuo was found with brutal injuries including a broken neck, severe bruising across the body, stab wounds, bite marks, and brain damage.

At the bond hearing a week later, he said, “There was blood going up the staircase on the handrail.

“There was blood on the walls. There was blood on the floor in the living room.

“There was blood in the hallway upstairs. There was blood in just about every room.”

Lockhart also testified that chiefs had found suggestions of someone trying to clean up a scene.

“It lit up blue throughout the whole hallway,” he said.

“You could see drag marks. You could see drag marks into the bathroom that was glowing blue.”

Lee was found at the Chattanooga suburb of Ooltewah residence after they responded to a call.

Perpetuo died from blunt force trauma, a medical examiner said.

District Attorney Coty Wamp said that Perpetuo was found wearing pants without cut marks despite the stab wounds in her legs, pointing towards them being put on later.

Drugs and a gun were also picked up with Lee having a facial injury and marks across his own body.

The case is eligible for capital punishment but it has not been decided if the death penalty will be sought.

Lee, a 2016 first round draft pick, played 58 times in the NFL for the Jets, Kansas City Chiefs, and Buffalo Bills.

He spent three years at the Jets between 2016 and 2018 before moving to Kansas.

Lee ended his career at the Las Vegas Raiders after leaving the Bills in 2021.
