The 39-year-old has a mixed history with sports predictions

DRAKE has placed his annual Super Bowl wager – and fans are praying his ‘curse’ doesn’t come true.

The Canadian rapper has put down a huge $1million bet on tonight’s NFL showpiece from Levi’s Stadium.

Drake picked his winner between the New England Patriots and the Seattle Seahawks.

The 39-year-old uploaded a Stake slip to his Instagram page on Saturday ahead of the big game.

Drake, 29, has selected the Patriots at odds of almost 2/1 to win the Lombardi.

His $1m wager will see a payout of $2.95m should the Pats win a first Super Bowl since 2018.

“Bet against me if you dare,” Drake captioned the pic.

Drake did not make a Super Bowl bet public last year when the Philadelphia Eagles beat the Kansas City Chiefs.

In 2024, he bet $1.15m on the Chiefs to win Super Bowl LVIII over the San Francisco 49ers.

On that occasion, he walked away victorious after the Chiefs went back-to-back.

But that is one of the only successful big-money wagers laid down by the hip hop star in recent years.

Drake’s record of betting on sporting events led to talk of a ‘curse’.

His worst run was between August 2022 and December 2022.

During that span, Drake went on a seven-bet losing streak and lost $3,842,181, per Drake Curse.

Of his bets made public in 2025, Drake lost over $1m betting on the Toronto Maple Leafs in the NHL playoffs.

He also called it wrong with a $800,000 bet on the NBA Finals, and lost a bet on Jannik Sinner to win the US Open.

His last sports wager was on Jake Paul to beat Anthony Joshua in their recent boxing fight.

Drake put $200k on the YouTuber to beat the former heavyweight champion of the world – only to see Paul brutally KO’d by Joshua.

Should the Seahawks beat the Patriots, his losing streak will extend to seven bets.

“As a Patriots fan, it was a good run. Pack it up boys, the curse is here,” wrote one fan on X after seeing Saturday’s Super Bowl wager.

“Ok so now we know the Seahawks are winning,” said another.

“Clearly, my goat has not been paying attention to football. The Seahawks are better team,” added a third.

“Congratulations to the Seahawks,” laughed a fourth.
