The 15-15 Warriors are eighth in the Western Conference after the win
TENSIONS reached a boiling point between Golden State Warriors head coach Steve Kerr and star power forward Draymond Green.
Kerr, 60, and Green, 35, were spotted having a heated court-side discussion in the third quarter of their game against the Orlando Magic.

The Warriors’ power forward then stormed off to the locker room for the remainder of the quarter.
He would return for the fourth quarter, but he was sporting his warm-up gear when he came back out.
It is unclear what happened specifically, but Green had just turned over the ball and was in the midst of complaining to an official.
Green and Kerr then got into it, with forward Moses Moody and assistant coach Jerry Stackhouse attempting to calm Green down.
After the game, Kerr addressed the elephant in the room and explained Green wasn’t coming back to the game after that.
“Yeah, we got into it obviously, and you know I took the timeout because I felt we lost our focus. We had it out a little bit,” Kerr said to reporters.
“He made his decision to go back to the locker room to cool off. That’s all I’m going to say about it. Everything is private.”
Green didn’t shed any more light on yet another heated courtside moment involving the Warriors star this year.
“Tempers spilled over, and I just thought it was best that I get out of there,” Green said.
“I don’t think that was a situation where it was gonna get better, so it was just best to remove myself. That’s it.”
The heated incident may have actually lit a fire under the team as they eventually won 120-97.
At the time of the incident, the Warriors were down five points to the Magic.
They then proceeded to outscore Orlando 54-26 from that point forward and secure an important win.
Kerr is adamant that Green is important to their season going forward, despite the two not being on the same page.
The eighth-placed Warriors are in a tough spot in a crowded NBA Western Conference with a 15-15 record.
The Warriors face the Dallas Mavericks on Christmas Day in the primetime slot of a five-strong slate.
