TOM MOORE has decided to call it a day on his legendary coaching career.
The iconic NFL figure, 87, has called time on his involvement in the game after 62 YEARS of coaching – including 48 of those in the National Football League.

The four-time Super Bowl champion has held multiple positions across his time in the sport but his time at the Tampa Bay Buccaneers as Senior Offensive Assistant will prove to be his final role.
Rick Stroud, who is a Bucs/NFL beat writer for the Tampa Bay Times shared quotes from Moore on his X account in which he said, “It’s time for me to go home and take care of my wife.
“For 62 years, she made a lot of sacrifices so I could live a dream and it’s always been about Tom but now it’s about Willie.
“It’s time. I’ve been fortunate to land n a lot of great places.
“This is a great place. The Glazers are fantastic owners.
“It doesn’t get any better than Jason Licht as general manager. Todd [Bowles] is great, It’s a tough business. I’ve been blessed”.
Bucs head coach Bowles also paid tribute to veteran Moore as the club announced a raft of coaching changes via their official website.
They’ve parted ways with five assistants including offensive coordinator Josh Grizzard and special teams coordinator Thomas McGaughey. Thaddeus Lewis, Kevin Ross and Charlie Strong also depart.
Paying tribute to Moore, Bowles hailed him a legend and revealed what he will miss most about the 87-year-old on the day to day.
He said, “Tom Moore is a legend in the coaching profession, and it has been an honor and a privilege to have him on our staff.
“Tom’s incredible knowledge and understanding about the game is unmatched and he has served as an invaluable resource for our entire coaching staff over these past seven years.
He always offered up unique perspectives and very helpful insights that assisted our coaches with their game preparation, but it will be the personal interactions I had with him every day that I will miss the most.”
