NFL Draft hopeful Drew Allar is set to throw at the Combine this week – just four months after breaking his ankle.
The Penn State graduate is one of the many hotly tipped quarterbacks set to be looked at.

Drew Allar will reportedly throw at the NFL Combine this week

The Penn State quarterback graduate is trying to raise his profile after a down year ended early by injury
Despite a poor 2025 season, which ended in October with injury, he is still one to watch.
And now ESPN report that Allar has chosen to throw in a bid to raise his value having seen his stock fall over the last 12 months.
Allar, 21, was seen as a potential first round QB pick before the last college season.
He underwent surgery on his ankle after a fracture in a game against Northwestern.
Not only does recovery seem to have gone well but Allar has made the play to try and impress scouts ahead of the eagerly awaited draft.
In a competitive field, Allar is one of 16 QBs invited to the Combine in Indianapolis.
Predicted No1 pick Fernando Mendoza, Indiana Hoosiers, is said to be a non-thrower as he prepares to go to the Las Vegas Raiders.
Alabama Crimson Tide‘s Ty Simpson is widely regarded as the second to go in his position.

The 21-year-old broke his ankle in October and needed surgery

He appears to have recovered before the draft but needs to impress to get a big move
Allar, with a good performance on-field, could push himself up the thinking.
The Pittsburgh Steelers are one of the teams linked with interest in him, even if it would likely be in the later rounds, when Allar could still be available.
He played 45 times for the Nittany Lions after debuting early in 2022.
His 2024 season caught the eye as he made 262 passes for 3,327 yards, throwing 24 touchdowns.
Allar had a strong 2023 as well, making 233 passes, 2,631 yards, and 25 TDs.
