Sports betting influencer Amanda Vance claimed she “lost 1k [one thousand] followers in 2 minutes on Instagram” after she posted a video of herself at Super Bowl 2026 blatantly ignoring Bad Bunny’s halftime performance in Santa Clara, Calif., on Sunday.

Vance, who has 538,000 followers on Instagram, shared a video of herself dancing in the stands at Levi’s Stadium while wearing wired headphones and watching Turning Point USA’s halftime program on her phone.

The conservative organization held an alternative halftime program headlined by Kid Rock, which also featured country musicians such as Brantley Gilbert, Gabby Barrett and Lee Brice.

“Watching the American halftime show instead of BAD bunny during the Super Bowl,” Vance wrote, adding, “I chose America and songs I know,” in her caption.

Kat Dunn, a television personality and influencer, commented: “Puerto Rico is in America by the way.”

Dunn explained that she unfollowed Vance in a tweet, calling her actions “performative” at the big game.

“Hi I’m one of the people who unfollowed you tonight and personally it was because i thought it was performative as f–k for you to set up a phone to record yourself ‘not watching’ a halftime performance (that you were literally at) and now I have your band of idiots sending ME (a white American lol) threats of deportation?? so like what are we even doing here,” Dunn wrote, including Vance’s tweet. “Because whatever it is, is obviously not as pro-American as you think.”

Dunn also included a screen grab of negative DMs she received after publicly criticizing Vance.

“I hope ICE deports you,” one message read.

Many were critical of Bad Bunny, including Jake Paul and U.S. President Donald Trump, because the six-time Grammy winner has publicly protested against ICE on multiple occasions.

He performed his 13-minute halftime show in Spanish while honoring his Puerto Rican culture with nods to the island’s cuisine, artists and fashion.

Bad Bunny spoke in English one time during his set, looking straight at the camera to say, “God Bless America.”

He presented a message of unity in his show, ending it by holding a football that read, “Together, we are America.”

The scoreboard at Levi’s Stadium also flashed a sign that read, “The only thing more powerful than hate is love.”

It comes after American conservative influencer Emily Austin went viral for filming her live reaction to Billie Eilish’s “F–k ICE” declaration on stage at the 2026 Grammys last Sunday.
