Jordon Hudson will be holding her own unofficial Hall of Fame ceremony, of sorts, after Bill Belichick’s snub.
The girlfriend of the eight-time Super Bowl champion is planning to throw a “huge bash” for Belichick on Aug. 8 — which is the same day as the Pro Football Hall of Fame induction ceremony — after the North Carolina head coach shockingly fell short of the 40 of 50 votes required in his first year of eligibility, according to People.
Invites will be extended by Hudson, 24, to people who planned to attend the ceremony in Canton — such as Tom Brady, Jimmy Johnson and Bill Parcells — and “many of the outspoken supporters” following the snub, an anonymous source told the outlet.

Bill Belichick is pictured during a Nov. 29 press conference for North Carolina.
“The purpose of the bash is to celebrate alongside all of his people,” the anonymous source also told People.
When news regarding the voting results broke, it sparked plenty of blowback.
ESPN cited an anonymous source saying that “politics” played a role in keeping Belichick from becoming a first-ballot Hall of Famer, and Spygate and Deflategate, the two major controversies defining Belichick’s stint as the Patriots’ head coach, reportedly played a role, too.
Belichick — who compiled a 333-178 record in the NFL and sits second to only Don Shula in career wins after overseeing the Patriots’ dynasty — reportedly asked one associate, “Six Super Bowls isn’t enough?”

He asked another, “What does a guy have to do?”
And the surprise trickled down to other current and former players, including Brady, who served as his quarterback with the Patriots for 20 seasons.

“I don’t understand it,” Brady said of Belichick’s snub, according to ESPN. “I mean, I was with him every day. If he’s not a first-ballot Hall of Famer, there’s really no coach that should ever be a first-ballot Hall of Famer, which is completely ridiculous because people deserve it.
“He’s incredible. There’s no coach I’d rather play for. If I’m picking one coach to go out there to win a Super Bowl — give me one season — I’m taking Bill Belichick. So that’s enough said.”
Belichick, now, won’t be eligible to enter the Hall of Fame until the Class of 2027 at the earliest.
But that didn’t prevent Hudson from finding a reason to celebrate before then.
