Josh Allen is channeling his inner Iron Man.
The superstar quarterback, 29, is battling through multiple injury issues Sunday as he looks to keep the Bills’ season alive in their wild-card road clash against the Jaguars.
Allen was evaluated for a concussion in the first half before getting the all clear to return. He also appeared to be in pain after hitting his right hand on a teammate’s helmet and later grimaced while reaching for his left knee following a second-quarter touchdown drive.
The Bills closed out the first half with a 10-7 lead but trailed 17-13 early in the fourth quarter.
Allen, the reigning league MVP, has put the Bills on his shoulders this season — even while grappling with additional injuries entering the playoffs.
Prior to kickoff Sunday, CBS Sports’ Tracy Wolfson reported how Allen is “still dealing with the right foot injury,” with the quarterback relaying, “He will have to manage it the rest of the postseason.”
Should Buffalo reach next weekend’s divisional round, “adrenaline and medicine will take over,” Allen assured Wolfson.

The Bills, who finished second in the AFC East at 12-5, are hoping this is the year they finally get over the AFC Championship hump and advance to the Super Bowl for the first time since 1994.
Allen and the Bills punched their tickets to last season’s AFC title game before being bested by the Chiefs.
Buffalo’s road to Santa Clara will not include another run-in with Patrick Mahomes and Co., as Kansas City was knocked out of postseason contention in December.
The Broncos claimed the AFC West crown from the Chiefs and are the conference’s No. 1 seed.
Denver will host the lowest remaining seed in the AFC in next week’s divisional matchups.
