The Baltimore Ravens stunningly fired Harbaugh following an 8-9 season, causing the Super Bowl-winning coach to be in high demand across the league.

But the Giants scooped up the 63-year-old on a reported five-year, $100 million deal.

Plenty of Giants fans are excited over Harbaugh, who has the 14th most wins (180) in NFL history, to join New York, who are a brutal 13-41 in the last three seasons.

And Thibodeaux has the same feeling as he spoke about Harbaugh to The U.S. Sun at Sports Illustrated’s SI The Party.

“Super excited. His resume speaks for itself,” Thibodeaux said about Harbaugh while on the event’s red carpet.

“He’s a legend.

“I’m excited to see what he can do.”

Despite the tough 4-13 record, the Giants have bright spots on the roster.

One of them is quarterback Jaxson Dart, who showed plenty of flashes in his rookie season as he was one of the top reasons why Harbaugh chose to sign with the Giants.

Thibodeaux is looking forward to Dart’s continued development under Harbaugh, who only oversaw two-time MVP Lamar Jackson in Baltimore.

“We’re gonna see how he does. I think it’s gonna be great for the team. Great for Jaxson. I’m super excited,” Thibodeaux.

The Giants did have issues on defense last season, which caused the team to fire Shane Bowen mid-season.

Still, the franchise does have talent on that side of the ball, which includes Dexter Lawrence, Brian Burns, Abdul Carter, and of course, Thibodeaux.

Harbaugh hired Dennard Wilson as the team’s new defensive coordinator, a decision that has been co-signed by Thibodeaux.

“I’m excited to see how we can make things work. We’ve got to win,” Thibodeaux said.

“We’ve got to stop the run, rush the passer, and I’m excited to see how this coach puts it together.”

The Giants will hope Harbaugh gets them into, at minimum, playoff contention next season.

They haven’t earned a trip to the postseason since 2022.
