Stefon Diggs, 32, has earned half a million dollars with his touchdown at MetLife Stadium on Sunday, December 28.

This is because Diggs has now achieved 80 receptions for the Patriots in the NFL this season.

Diggs has now triggered a clause in his contract that rewards him with a $500,000 bonus for reaching the landmark.

The wide receiver started his NFL career with the Minnesota Vikings in 2015.

He spent five seasons with the Vikings before joining the Buffalo Bills in 2020.

Diggs spent the 2024 season with the Houston Texans before joining the Patriots this year.

The wideout has been a key player for the Patriots as they continue to lead the AFC East.

He has recorded 971 yards from 82 receptions for the franchise this season.

This includes a season-high of 146 yards against his former team the Bills.

Receiver Diggs then embraced Bills quarterback Josh Allen, 29, after the game.

Diggs then faced an NFL punishment after the Patriots’ win against the Baltimore Ravens.

He was evaluated for a concussion despite being adamant that he had just suffered a shoulder injury during the game.

The wide receiver has also managed four receiving touchdowns for his new team as they head for the NFL playoffs.

He registered 101 yards from six receptions against the Jets.

Diggs is currently signed to a three-year, $63.5 million contract with the Patriots.

But this has risen significantly through various incentive bonuses.

The Patriots went on to claim an impressive 42-10 win against the Jets.

They now sit second in the AFC with one final game against AFC East rivals, the Miami Dolphins, in Week 18.
