Netflix debuted a new crew consisting of Ian Eagle, Nate Burleson, and Matt Ryan for its broadcast booth.

For halftime coverage, Kay Adams led a team that included Michael Irvin, Austin Ekeler, and Jason McCourty.

While there was plenty of star power on the broadcast, there might have been too much at once.

Fans made complaints on social media of too much noise on the broadcast.

There was also a strange segment on the broadcast where there was a live interview in the middle of the game.

However it wasn’t an interview with a player or coach, but rather a former player calling in over zoom.

Clinton Portis called in and provided some commentary on the broadcast, which was torn into by fans.

It’s safe to say that Netflix’s addition to the NFL‘s broadcast rotation wasn’t fully successful this season, and fans shared why on social media.

“This NFL on Netflix is chopped,” one fan said.

“Strip @netflix of all nfl games. This is hard to watch,” another fan said.

“Actually watching nfl on Netflix today and I honestly have no idea what’s going on,” a third fan said.

“The NFL stream on Netflix is garbage,” a fourth fan said.
