NEW England Patriots star Stefon Diggs has pleaded not guilty over allegations he assaulted his private chef in December.
The 32-year-old wide receiver attended the seconds-long hearing in Massachusetts just days after losing the Super Bowl.

Dressed in a grey sweater and white collared shirt, Diggs kept a straight face and didn’t utter a word as the plea was entered on his behalf at 9am on Friday, NBC affiliate WBTS reported.
He was ordered to stay away from the alleged victim and was released on personal recognizance bail.
The football star will return to court on April 1 at 9am for a pretrial hearing.
Diggs was initially scheduled to appear in court on January 23, which would have been two days before the AFC Championship Game in Denver, Colorado.
However, his lawyer argued they had to push it back for professional reasons, and they rescheduled for after Sunday’s championship game.
Diggs is facing felony charges for allegedly attacking and strangling the female chef as they argued over a paycheck on December 2.
The receiver, who shares a child with rapper Cardi B, smacked and choked her with the crook of his elbow until she felt like she was going to black out, court documents allege.
He then allegedly threw her onto her bed and said “something to the effect of, ‘Thought so,’” according to the docs seen by ABC affiliate WTAE.
Text messages appeared to show the two had a disagreement because the chef tried to walk away from their arrangement and get paid out “for the season.”
She told the NFL star he “wasted” her time and said, “I’m out of your life,” the court docs say.
Diggs then allegedly hit back texting, “I won’t be paying you [expletive.] ‘Expletive] I look like, paying you and another chef? Is you high?”
When quizzed about the accusations, Diggs has only said, “It’s definitely an open case, so I can’t even say anything about it.”
Meanwhile, his attorney David Meier has claimed the incident was made up by the accuser because she wasn’t satisfied with the financial split.
Diggs has been charged with felony strangulation or suffocation and misdemeanor assault and battery charges, and he could face jail time if he’s prosecuted.
A guilty decision could see his 3-year $63.5 million contract with the Patriots come to an abrupt end.
The drama has sparked speculation that Cardi B split with the player, despite the fact that she showed up to the Super Bowl to dance on stage with Bad Bunny.
When the allegations first came to light, Cardi told people to “calm down.”
