Utah Tech’s Chance Trujillo punched Santa Clara’s Allen Graves after he was dunked on near the end of a loss.

Graves went flying over Trujillo to secure a one-handed slam dunk with 1:18 left in the second half.

That score put Santa Clara up 86-77, and they would go on to win the game.

While Graves celebrated the dunk he knocked into Trujilo, who reacted by punching him in the face.

Graves tripped backwards after being stunned by the punch before attempting to lunge at Trujilo.

However, his teammates were able to hold him back from starting a massive fight.

A quick scuffle unfolded, but referees succeeded in stopping it from getting out of hand.

Trujillo, Graves, and Santa Clara’s Brenton Knapper were assessed technical fouls on the play.

It is unclear whether or not Trujillo was ejected from the game.

He could face discipline for his actions in the loss, and fans think a suspension is in order.

“That should be a suspension for the season,” one fan said.

“Just so unnecessary,” another fan said.

“Complete bush league and pathetic response from Trujillo,” a third fan said.

“Expel him,” a fourth fan said.
