Super Bowl LX: New England Patriots v Seattle SeahawksSeahawks star Jobe celebrates after beating the Patriots at Super Bowl LX

Josh Jobe, 27, is set to be punished by the NFL for his fracas with Patriots star Stefon Diggs, 32, early on in the fourth quarter.

Jobe rushed over to shove Diggs to the floor after the wide receiver was man-marked out-of-bounds by Devon Witherspoon, 25.

This triggered a scrap between the players as Diggs grabbed Jobe’s facemask.

Officials rushed in to break the pair up.

Cornerback Jobe then appeared to throw a strike at the Patriots player as side judge Eugene Hall attempted to split them apart.

But Jobe shockingly escaped any on-field punishment with fans split on social media.

“It looks to me like Jobe was waiting the whole game to get a shot at Diggs,” one fan posted on X.

“Diggs runs up and grabs Jobe by the facemask. Wtf else is he supposed to do? Let himself get dragged by the head to the ground?” another shared.

Jobe managed to avoid any on-field punishment because no flag was thrown on the play.

It meant that he could not be ejected by the referee.

The officials had been distracted as a streaker ran onto the field at the same time.

This streaker has since been slapped with two charges by the Santa Clara Police Department.

Several players have received punishments for throwing punches at opponents during the 2025 NFL season.

Jacksonville Jaguars star Travon Walker, 25, was ejected against the Las Vegas Raiders for hitting Stone Forsythe, 28.

Washington Commanders defensive tackle Daron Payne, 28, was handed a one-game suspension for his punch against rival Amon-Ra St. Brown, 26.

Meanwhile, Pittsburgh Steelers star DK Metcalf, 28, was handed a two-game ban for striking a fan during the regular season.

Of course, Jobe’s punishment may differ as he avoided ejection at Super Bowl LX.

Jobe made seven tackles against the Patriots as the Seahawks claimed a dominant 29-13 Super Bowl victory.
