Beal was first reported missing early in August last year, and new information has been revealed in his case.

In his missing persons file, Beal was in jail for five months after facing charges for allegedly missing child support payments, according to TMZ.

Once he was released, a witness told police that Beal “seemed a little off.”

They also said that he stopped taking his prescribed medication because he “didn’t like the way it made him feel.”

That same witness also told police that Beal’s issues began after his pro football career ended in March of 2024.

The witness could not confirm if the former Giant had made suicidal comments, but recalled him making statements like “If I was gone nobody would even care.”

Another witness told Police that when a storm approached Beal said he “would be fine if that tornado would just swoop him up and take him.”

When Beal’s probation officer contacted his family on August 6, they reported him missing, according to TMZ.

Police have made multiple attempts to contact Beal via email and phone.

They have yet to reach the former NFL star.
