Stefon Diggs is adding a cryptic chapter to what’s been an eventful week.
On the heels of his Patriots’ Super Bowl 2026 loss to the Seahawks and his rumored breakup with girlfriend Cardi B, the 32-year-old wide receiver posted a curious message Wednesday on Instagram, where the comments were shut off.
“Gratitude and Fear cannot coexist in the same space… a reminder to control what you can control , remain thankful and stay motivated,” Diggs captioned a photo roundup that featured snapshots from the Patriots’ playoff run and the team’s motto, “We all we got, we all we need.”
Diggs, in the first year of a three-year, $63.5 million pact with the Pats, tallied just three receptions for 37 yards as Seattle’s ferocious defense made life miserable for Drake Maye and Co. in the 29-13 defeat at Levi’s Stadium.
The drama continued after the game, as reports emerged that Diggs and Cardi, 33, unfollowed one another on Instagram, fueling breakup buzz.
The Grammy-winning rapper, who welcomed a son with Diggs in November 2025, also left the game early, according to Page Six.

Rumors swirled that Cardi B (r.) and Stefon Diggs split in the aftermath of Super Bowl 2026.
However, Cardi did make a cameo during the halftime show after being included in Bad Bunny’s star-studded set.
Cardi and Diggs made their relationship Instagram official last June.
She shares three children with her estranged husband, rapper Offset. She filed for divorce in July 2024.
Diggs’ post on Wednesday arrived two days before he is slated to be arraigned in court after being accused of assaulting a personal chef.

Diggs finished the regular season with 85 receptions for 1,013 yards and four touchdowns across 17 games. He scored once in the postseason during the Patriots’ divisional round win over the Texans.
Before landing in New England, Diggs spent the 2024 season in Houston, a run that was cut short due to an ACL injury. He began his career in Minnesota in 2015 and was traded to Buffalo in 2020.
