Former quarterback is juggling a number of roles

TOM Brady is playing a very active role in finding the new Las Vegas Raiders head coach, it has been claimed.

Brady, 48, is a minority owner of the NFL franchise.

But his role in appointing a new coach is anything but minor, ESPN reporter Peter Schrager has claimed.

The Raiders fired Pete Carroll after a dismal 3-14 season in 2025.

Brady is juggling his ownership of the Raiders with other roles such as Fox’s lead NFL analyst.

But, according to Schrager, his other ventures haven’t stopped him from being front in center in the new head coach search.

Former NFL Network and Fox star Schrager appeared on the Bill Simmons Podcast.

And he said, “Brady’s very involved with the Raiders’ search.

“I think I’m allowed to say that.

“He’s at this Fanatics event at the Intuit Dome the other night, and then all of a sudden, he’s on a Zoom and he is very engaged and dialed in.

“He’s leading the interviews, alright. He’s playing a big role.”

Brady was hit with restrictions by the NFL once he became a part owner of a team.

He was banned from being in production meetings and entering other teams’ facilities.

That made his job at Fox even tougher, but Brady has been praised for his improvement in the booth in his second season.

The Raiders, meanwhile, have conducted interviews with eight candidates for their head coach role, including Kevin Stefanski and Jesse Minter.
