Kelley Jorgensen is being accused of utilizing a racial slur.
Kelley is currently a contestant competing on Big Brother season 27.
Live feed footage from the show has been circulating online since Tuesday, September 2, of what some fans are claiming is of Kelly being racist.
In the live feed footage, Kelley is having a conversation with Lauren Domingue about Ashley Hollis.
Kelley is heard saying, “It’s tempting to get Ashley out. You know?” and Lauren makes a noise of acknowledgement.
Kelley then says, “Like these monkeys…” as Ashley walks into the bathroom.
There are two different angles of the live feed chat between the two competitors.
In the second one, which zoomed out into the room, Ashley is seen coming in.
As Ashley is fully entering the space, Kelley pivots to saying, “Everybody is getting called upstairs,” and the live feed goes dark.
The live feed clips have caused much conversation online about Kelley, especially with Kelley being White and Ashley being Black.
The person who initially posted the video wrote, “Racist Alert. Kelley talks about Mickey being a liar but it’s so tempting to get Ashley out and calls them ‘These Monkeys’ and Ashley walks in and feeds cut.”

The original poster was referring to contestant Mickey Lee (who is also Black), but where the clip begins, it doesn’t show Kelley speaking about Mickey.
Some agreed with the user and accused Kelley of being racist as well and demanding she is booted off the CBS reality competition series.
One fan said, “This is actually crazy and she gotta go for this is you ask me.” Another said “Monkeys.!!!.
She needs to be put out the BB house now. They continuously let people be disrespectful in the BB house been happening for some years . GET HER OUT. That’s very Offensive and I’m Offended.”

The bathroom in Big Brother has dangling monkey lights
There were some fans who defended the 30-year-old web designer, stating that there were monkey lamps in the bathroom (which can be seen in a second video from a different angle and a close-up image in the comments) and she was talking about the decor.
A fan said, “She’s obviously talking about the monkey bathroom decorations.”
A second fan said, “So it seems like Ashley walked in and, in an attempt to not look like they were talking game, Kelley started talking about the decor in the bathroom which has monkeys.
A very very unfortunate coincidence. F–k Kelley but this one doesn’t seem to be an actual thing.”

Although there were comments that pointed out that even if Kelley was talking about the monkey bathroom decor, the transition from talking about a Black woman to monkey decoration was still problematic.
A person said, “Smfh like no matter what she meant, we white people should have the self-awareness to know better than wording it like that.
Ignorance or racism, it’s ridiculous in 2025.”

💥 “NO CAMERAS. NO PRESS. JUST THREE NAMES THE WORLD THOUGHT THEY KNEW.” 🌪️ When the Category-5 monster Hurricane Melissa tore through Jamaica, help was nowhere in sight. Then — without a single announcement — a private jet touched down at dawn. Inside: Rachel Maddow. Stephen Colbert. Joy Reid. No sponsors. No cameras. No entourage. They brought 5 tons of food, medicine, water filters, and $1.5 million in aid, all paid from their own pockets. Locals said they worked through the night — lifting boxes, feeding children, treating wounds — not a single word about fame or press. And when a volunteer asked why they came, Joy Reid quietly answered: “Because the news doesn’t need to cover this — humanity does.” By morning, they were gone. No selfies. No headlines. Just whispers spreading across the island — “Were those really them?” Nobody knows who leaked the flight manifest. But one thing’s certain: this wasn’t charity.
