The 2025 MTV Video Music Awards turned into a fashion playground, with several of the biggest celebrities in Hollywood serving drama and dazzle with their bold red carpet outfits.
From sculptural silhouettes to delicate lace designs, the sheer dress was the sartorial star of the evening when the A-listers hit the scene at the UBS Arena in New York on Sunday, September 7, to celebrate the year’s biggest achievements in music.
The music wasn’t the only thing making waves at the 2025 VMAs — considering the racy dresses hit high notes of their own. Tate McRae notably turned heads when she posed for photos at the soiree, wearing a stunning see-through floor-length gown that left little to the imagination.
The singer switched up her look from 2024 after donning a daring black lace Roberto Cavalli mini dress paired with black pumps.
