President Donald Trump is no stranger to arguing with news outlets and his feud with MSNBC came to a head this week after a host highlighted his ‘cankles’ on air
Donald Trump’s feud with MSNBC continues after a show host said the President found the “perfect place to hide those ankles.”
The President hit out at the network’s name change announcement this week and has previously lashed out at the channel, including targeting host Nicolle Wallace.
The President also took a swing at host Lawrence O’Donnell after he told viewers Trump was “hiding” his “cankles” while in the Oval Office.
Sharing a photo of Trump alongside the European heads of state, who he has been visiting this week following last weekend’s meeting with Vladimir Putin, O’Donnell noted it was hard to see Trumps ankles from where he was sitting.
He explained, “Presidents actually rarely sit at the Oval Office desk like that during meetings in the Oval Office with people from outside the White House staff.
The President usually sits in one of those chairs in front of the fireplace.”

The White House confirmed in July that the 79-year-old President was suffering from chronic venous insufficiency (CVI).
The condition can cause swollen ankles and is common in those over 70, though it can also be made worse by poor diet, as O’Donnell noted on his Tuesday, August 19 show.
“That’s one of the ways a lifetime of McDonald’s junk food catches up with you. One of the places those Big Macs are going to show up is in the ankles hanging over the edge of your shoes,” he said.
It came as Trump, always quick to share his complaints on social media, blasted MSNBC on his platform Truth Social. Branding the company “fake news,” he wrote an all-caps rant about the company.
Lawrence O’Donnell spoke out about the President
“MSNBC IS DOING SO POORLY IN THE RATINGS THAT THEY ARE LOOKING TO CHANGE THEIR NAME IN ORDER TO GET AWAY FROM THE STENCH OF THEIR FAKE NEWS PRODUCT,” he began.
Trump continued, “SO MUCH FUN TO WATCH THEIR WEAK AND INEFFECTIVE OWNER, ‘CONCAST,’ HEADED BY DOPEY BRIAN ROBERTS, HOPELESSLY AND AIMLESSLY FLAILING IN THE WIND IN AN ATTEMPT TO DISASSOCIATE ITSELF FROM THE GARBAGE THAT THEY CREATED! MSNBC IS A FAILURE BY ANY NAME!!!”
In a previous angry rant, Trump hit out at another MSNBC host, Nicolle Wallace.
He wrote, “She will be fired soon! MSNBC IS DEAD!” He also called Wallace’s reporting “clown news” and said she was a “loser with bad ratings.”
But the TV journalist wasn’t going to just take it.
On her show, she claimed that Trump was “delusional” and “is furious at anyone that covers the truth about this story and any others.”
