CLEVELAND BROWNS head coach Kevin Stefanski has broken his silence over claims he is sabotaging Shedeur Sanders.

The quarter-back was selected by the Browns in the 2025 Draft.

And fans are hoping he can play a big role in the new NFL season.

However, Sanders has not yet lived up to his billing.

The former Colorado star had some shaky performances during pre-season.

He also faced competition from three other QBS in Joe Flacco, Dillon Gabriel and Kenny Pickett.
The latter has since been traded to the Las Vegas Raiders.But Flacco has since been announced as starter, with Gabriel second choice.

That leaves Sanders as the third and final QB  for the Browns.

It saw reporters ask Browns coach Stefanski whether he was “sabotaging” Sanders’ progress.

In response, the chief said: “I’m committed to his development, just like all of our rookies.

“We’ll continue to focus on getting our guys better.

In his last match against the Los Angeles Rams, Sanders’ shocking numbers were highlighted by former NFL scout Daniel Kelly.

He wrote on X: “Shedeur Sanders takes another sack and held the ball for 6.13 seconds on this one.

“To put this time to throw into context – in 2024 NFL QBs time to throw was between 2.42 and 3.13 seconds (NEXT GEN STATE).”
