When Christmas comes around, Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes splashes out for his teammates.

Patrick Mahomes knows how to deliver at Christmas.
The Kansas City Chiefs quarterback, who is currently out for the season after his ACL injury against the Los Angeles Chargers on Dec. 14, once splashed out on his teammates.

Mahomes gifted his O-line some custom golf carts for Xmas two years ago
Last year, Mahomes went on an impressive spending spree, gifting his offensive linemen over $100k’s worth of Christmas gifts.
At the time the Chiefs’ official X account shared a post that read, “QB1 spread some Christmas cheer by giving gifts to the o-line ,” accompanied by photos of the lavish presents.
The gifts included a Rolex watch, as well as other luxury items such as Lucchese boots, Oakley sunglasses and Yeti coolers.
Another photo from sportscaster Kay Adams also showed a couple of Louis Vuitton packages for the lucky lineman.
Exact figures weren’t revealed, but online estimates suggest Mahomes splashed at least £100k on his teammates.
“Pocket change for that man. Great gesture though!” one fan posted at the time.
“This is like the equivalent of an average American spending $15,” joked another.
“Best part about being a lineman,” added a third.
Quarterbacks and O-lineman tend to have a strong bond, given the guys upfront are tasked with protecting their signal caller from taking hits and unnecessary sacks.
Mahomes has always been grateful to his offensive linemen, and him buying them festive treats has become something of a tradition.

The quarterback reportedly spent over $100k on the items
In 2020, Mahomes reportedly gifted custom golf clubs to the offensive line after the Chiefs’ Super Bowl victory.
In 2023, the reigning Super Bowl MVP went viral after gifting his O-line some custom golf carts which they took for a spin around a parking lot.
The 30-year-old field general signed a 10-year extension with the Chiefs back in 2020 that would last through the 2031 season for $450 million.
Mahomes hasn’t been afraid to spread that wealth, often helping out those less fortunate than him over the holiday period.
Two years ago, the Chiefs’ superstar joined his wife, Brittany, to deliver surprise Christmas presents to in-need children, which included essential winter clothes for an EarlyStart program in the Kansas City area.
It remains to be seen what Mahomes will do this year for his teammates.

The Chiefs playoff hopes ended in disaster with Mahomes injured and their playoff hopes ended
While his generous nature is not tied down to the results of the team, the Chiefs have had a season to forget.
Their 6-8 record has eliminated them from playoff contention, meaning this is the first time in 11 years that Kansas won’t be in the postseason.
