The Notorious took to social media to reignite his rivalry with the American boxer.

He claimed he could beat the boxer in ten seconds
McGregor, 37, posted a video from their infamous press conference during the 2017 world tour.
It was ahead of their crossover bout that saw the Irish fighter take on Mayweather in the boxing ring.
The Money, 48, won the fight by TKO in the tenth round at the T-Mobile Arena, Nevada, US.
McGregor now seems ready to go again against the iconic boxer but this time in his arena.
The MMA star wants to welcome Mayweather to the octagon as he called him out on X.
During the call out, McGregor touted that the fight could happen at the White House in Washington.
He also boldly claimed that he would need just ten seconds to beat the undefeated boxer.
He wrote: “Fun times Dana White
“Floyd Mayweather, when you are ready for that promised MMA bout, I am here.
“The White House is nice in the summer I heard. Just kidding Mike!
“Although… I could fight both the same night. Floyd MMA? EASY. 10 seconds.”
McGregor has not fought since his leg break against Dustin Poirier during UFC 264 in 2021.
He was expected to make his return against Michael Chandler last year but pulled out with an injury.
It has been rumoured that he would fight Chandler on UFC’s White House card but it is yet to be confirmed.
Mayweather beat McGregor in a boxing fight in 2017
Chandler is believed to be who McGregor is referencing as “Mike” in the post.
McGregor and Mayweather’s record-breaking pay-per-view fight nine years ago generated almost £450MILLION in revenue.
Mayweather has previously insisted that he had been training for a potential MMA bout.
However, very little has been heard about this since.
He is expected to fight boxing icon Mike Tyson in an exhibition following an announcement in September.
The fight is expected to take place in Spring this year.
