It has been revealed that a mistake was made during the closing stages of the Steelers’ Week 14 win.

Rodgers, 42, attempted a pass during the fourth quarter against the Ravens.

The veteran quarterback’s pass was batted back towards him.

Quarterback Rodgers and Ravens linebacker Teddye Buchanan, 23, both appeared to grab the ball simultaneously with an interception called.

But a replay review suggested that Rodgers caught the ball with a knee down, resulting in no turnover.

It has been confirmed to NBC Sports by an NFL official that this was a mistake.

The NFL is looking to make changes to its video replay protocol ahead of the 2026 season.

A rule change will allow replay officials to throw flags on non-football acts during the upcoming campaign.

Additionally, the NFL will not ban the controversial tush push despite major uproar.

The interception error proved crucial for the Steelers as they went on to claim a 27-22 win.

It ultimately meant that the Ravens finished the 2025 season with just eight wins from 17 games to finish second in the AFC North.

Meanwhile, Rodgers and the Steelers topped the division with ten wins.

Quarterback Lamar Jackson, 29, has led Ravens stars complaining about the delayed admission on social media.

“So technically we won? 10-7 1st offseason win ever,” Jackson posted on X.

Linebacker Kyle Van Noy, 34, has also weighed in on the unorthodox situation.

“Have we ever seen the NFL come out months after a game has been played and admitted they didn’t get 1 huge crucial call in the biggest NFL rivalry game. But they got 2 Crucial calls in same Game wrong!!!” Van Noy said.

“Wow !!!! Accountability kinda sorta not really but something kinda… We need some sort of action now because this can not happen at the highest level. I understand 1 but 3????? Smh.”

The Steelers’ season came to an abrupt end as they lost to the Houston Texans in their Wild Card playoff.
