SKIP Bayless is claiming that Tom Brady is concerned about the New England Patriots winning Super Bowl LX.

Bayless, 74, is arguing that Brady, 48, fears his legacy will diminish if the Patriots win against the Seattle Seahawks.

He has explained that he thinks Brady was conflicted about the Patriots’ result in the AFC Championship against the Denver Broncos.

The Patriots secured a 10-7 victory against the Broncos in a flash blizzard at Mile High.

Brady reached the Super Bowl an incredible nine times with the Patriots.

He won six of them before winning a seventh NFL Championship ring during his two-year stint with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers before retiring.

The retired quarterback is widely regarded as the greatest NFL player of all time.

Now ESPN star Bayless believes that Brady is worried that 23-year-old Drake Maye‘s instant impact could harm his legacy at the franchise.

“I don’t think Tom Brady loves this,” Bayless said in a lengthy video on X. “He’ll love it that [Mike] Vrabel got to the Super Bowl so quickly after Belichick was finally run out the back door the way Brady was.

“But I don’t think Brady’s going to love it for his legacy that some second-year starter, as he was, flipped the switch and got the Patriots right back to the Super Bowl.”

Quarterback Maye is set to start at Super Bowl LX during just his second season in the NFL.

Of course, Brady won Super Bowl XXXVI in his second season with the Patriots.

But Maye will become the second-youngest quarterback to start a Super Bowl behind the Miami Dolphins‘ Dan Marino, now 64.

Maye will become the youngest quarterback to win the Super Bowl overtaking Ben Roethlisberger, now 43, if the Patriots are victorious.

The quarterback has already established himself in the team as he was spotted with Robert Kraft, 84, ahead of the AFC Championship win.

Brady has become a part-owner of the Las Vegas Raiders since retiring despite having a statue at the Patriots’ Gillette Stadium.

Now Bayless claims that Brady could go as far as rooting against the Patriots at the Super Bowl.

“I think it’ll, in Tom’s eyes, diminish his legacy a little bit,” Bayless added. “I don’t think he was rooting for Drake Maye today, and I definitely don’t think he’s going to be rooting for him to win the Super Bowl.”

It will be a rematch of Brady’s Super Bowl XLIX win as the Patriots are set to face the Seahawks.

They will face off at Levi’s Stadium in Santa Clara, California, on Sunday, February 8.
