“I couldn’t think of a better place to do it. To tell you I love you and I want to be with you for the rest of my life,” the football player could be heard telling Storovich in a video shared on the University of Nebraska–Lincoln football team’s Instagram account.

Lindenmeyer hugged the dancer before getting down on one knee. He then showed her a ring box, and she covered her face before nodding “yes.” The athlete stood up and embraced Storovich as his teammates cheered in the background.

Then, Lindenmeyer slipped the ring on his fiancée’s finger as her fellow dancers screamed in excitement. The newly engaged couple shared another sweet hug before Lindenmeyer asked to make a speech.

“I play my heart out for you every night,” he told his teammates before gesturing to his partner. “This is the love of my life right here.”
