The NFL has revealed the Super Bowl LX logo ahead of the showpiece and it’s already sent conspiracy theorists spinning.
Why? The Super Bowl logo conspiracy, of course, which is not the first NFL conspiracy to circulate in recent years.
There’s been a prevalent conspiracy in recent years pertaining to the annually-evolving Super Bowl logo — chiefly, that the two colors on the Super Bowl logo every season represent the teams that end up in the Super Bowl.First it was Rams-Bengals in Super Bowl LVI (orange and yellow), then it was Eagles-Chiefs in Super Bowl LVII (green and red).
This year, the Super Bowl logo LIX was red and green, which led some to speculate that the Chiefs and Eagles were destined to meet in a rematch of Super Bowl LVII — which they did.
Assuming you believe that sort of stuff, the Super Bowl LX logo is extremely telling.
It features many colors on it, including a landscape with trees and the Golden Gate Bridge.
More importantly, though, two of the most prominent colors are purple and blue, fuelling speculation about which two teams are destined to meet in 2026’s Super Bowl.

“Chargers vs Vikings confirmed,” one fan posted on X.
“Lions vs Ravens,” suggested another.
“Bills vs Rams,” argued a third.
If you’re betting person who also happens to buy into these theories, the Lions vs Ravens would probably be your best bet.
The Lions were the NFC’s No. 1 seed last season and many peoples’ favorites to make Super Bowl LIX.
However, injuries plagued their defense and they fell to the Washington Commanders in the divisional round of the playoffs.
The Ravens, meanwhile, are perennial AFC contenders.
Lamar Jackson and Derrick Henry will always give them a shot of reaching the annual showpiece — if they can get past reigning MVP Josh Allen and the Buffalo Bills, which they failed to do this year.
The Super Bowl logo conspiracy has certainly gained traction in recent years, along with baseless theories that the NFL is ‘rigged’ or ‘scripted’.

However, that isn’t technically true.
In fact, 2024’s showpiece didn’t follow the trend, effectively rendering the theory incorrect.
Super Bowl LVIII had a red and purple color scheme, leading many to believe the Baltimore Ravens were destined to meet the San Francisco 49ers in that year’s big game.
However, that theory was eventually debunked when the Chiefs beat the Ravens in the AFC Championship Game, resulting in an all-red affair between the Chiefs and 49ers in Super Bowl LVIII, which Kansas City won.
Has Levi’s Stadium hosted the Super Bowl before?
The newly-crowned Eagles will be hoping to defend their world championship in next year’s big game.
It will be the second time Levi’s Stadium has hosted the global event, and the third time the San Francisco Bay area will have a Super Bowl.
The last time the city hosted was nearly 10 years ago, for Super Bowl 50, won by the Denver Broncos against the Carolina Panthers.
In 2027, the Los Angeles Rams’ SoFi Stadium will host Super Bowl 61.
This will also be the second time for the stadium, having been the location for Super Bowl 56 in 2022 where the Rams defeated the Cincinnati Bengals 23-20.
A year later, Super Bowl 62 will take place Mercedez-Benz Stadium in Atlanta, the home of the Falcons.
It will be the second time the arena has staged the big game, having hosted the annual showpiece in 2019 when the the New England Patriots defeated the Los Angeles Rams in Super Bowl 53, 13-3.
