Jackson has spoken out following the incident

LAMAR JACKSON has escaped a punishment from the NFL after pushing a Buffalo Bills fan.

The Baltimore Ravens quarter-back clashed with the spectator, who was sat in the front row of the Highmark Stadium.

The incident occurred after Jackson threw a 29-yard touchdown pass to DeAndre Hopkins in the third quarter.

Jackson rushed over to celebrate with his teammates when a fan wearing a Bills jersey hit Hopkins and Jackson on the helmet.

The quarter-back reacted by pishing the supporter with two hands, causing him to fall backwards.

The NFL looked into the incident and have decided not to discipline Jackson.
NFL spokesman Brian McCarthy said in a statement: “The matter has been addressed by the club and there is no further action from the league.”While the fan, who was ejected from the stadium, has been banned from the Bills and NFL stadiums.

Jackson issued an apology to the fan while also sending him a warning.

He said: “Just chill next time. You can talk trash and stuff but keep your hands to yourself.”

His teammate Derrick Henry was alsmost hit with a frozen w\zater bottle in the end zone shortly after that incident.

Jackson added: “Stuff like that shouldn’t be happening. It’s not WWE.

“We’re playing football out here. So just keep it to football.

“I know guys are going to talk trash. I know the opposing team is going to talk trash. Keep it that way.”But keep your hands and keep your objects to yourself.”

A Ravens official said: “Our player’s safety is of the utmost importance.

“We have spoken to Lamar, who understands the impact of the situation, about the incident.

“While we will keep internal matters private, we have implemented additional security protocols — both at home and on the road — to better protect our players and handle negative fan interactions moving forward.”
