CALEB WILLIAMS has rubbed NFL fans the wrong way with a surprising public appearance just hours after the Chicago Bears’ playoff loss on Sunday.
The young quarterback suffered heartbreak in the Divisional round against the Los Angeles Rams after an overtime field goal dumped them out of the playoffs.

Williams threw two touchdowns in the game, including an instantly iconic throw to Cole Kmet to keep his team’s hopes alive, which is already being tipped by some as one of the best touchdown passes of all time.
But three interceptions, including a disastrous turnover at the start of overtime, would see the Bears fall to a narrow 20-17 defeat thanks to a 42-yard Harrison Mevis kick.
However, the 24-year-old didn’t appear to take the loss too hard it seems, after he was spotted getting over his woes at another local sporting event.
Williams was seen enjoying himself at a Chicago Blackhawks game on Monday, smiling and showing off an ‘ice cold’ celebration to the cameras.
He was even joined by fellow Chicago sporting icon, Cubs centre fielder Pete Crow-Armstrong.
But while the pair enjoyed the Blackhawks’ win over the Winnipeg Jets, some fans were less than pleased to see the former first pick appearing so carefree in the wake of the loss.
One fan said: “This is a TERRIBLE look lmao hope the bears enjoyed there one year of fun.”
Another joked that he was: “Taking that loss pretty hard I see.”

And another harshly claimed: “Wow. I guess he doesn’t care that he just blew the game yesterday lmaoooo”
But it wasn’t all anger from fans, with several pointing out the incredible work Williams put in to get the team to the playoffs in the first place.
The DC native threw for 3,942 yards this season, marking a franchise record for single-season passing yards.
That tally included 27 touchdowns and just seven interceptions as he finally seemed to find his feet in Chicago.
These performances helped guide the Bears, who finished last in the NFC North last season, to a division-topping 11-6 record this year.
A number of fans came to his defence in the face of the backlash, with one saying: “Caleb earned himself so much respect this playoff run The Bears are in good hands.”
Another mocked the outrage from fans, sarcastically joking: “How dare Caleb go in public and be happy 24 hours after a playoff loss?
“He should be sad in a dark room for the rest of the month!”
