An emotional Alix Earle spoke out about her breakup with Braxton Berrios for the first time on Saturday in a candid TikTok video.
“I wanted to give you guys an update about my life. I know I’m going to be speaking for the both of us and it’s just been really hard to process in general, and I think why I’ve been scared to say something is because it just makes it more real,” the “Dancing with the Stars” finalist, 24, began.
“Braxton and I are no longer together. We have been doing long-distance since basically June, and we haven’t gotten to see each other that often. Just been really difficult for me, and I think it was really difficult when I was out in L.A. and I really liked it and I thought, maybe I wanted to stay there and I felt really motivated, and I think that was a scary thing for me to realize because it meant us not being in the same place and apart of me just also really wants to be focusing on myself right now and I just feel like I can’t be what Braxton needs.”
Earle’s video comes roughly a week after reports emerged that she and the Houston Texans wide receiver, 30, had parted ways after two years of dating.
A source told Page Six the split was “distance-induced.”
Berrios, an eight-year NFL veteran, is in his first season with the Texans. Earle recently placed second on Season 34 of “Dancing with the Stars,” which is based in Los Angeles.
Braxton Berrios and Alix Earle split in December 2025.
“I want him to have someone with him 24/7 who can support him and be there for him, and he really wasn’t expecting that of me, I think it was more a me thing, but I constantly felt guilty. I love Braxton, he’s my best friend. It’s been really difficult as we’re trying to go forward with this,” Earle said while holding back tears.
The social media sensation added that she and Berrios are “on good terms” and that she doesn’t “want anyone to come for him to be mean to him.”
“I think the scary part is, part of me doesn’t know if how I feel even makes sense. I think I question myself a lot… This has just been really hard,” Earle said through tears. “… I just wanted to tell you guys cause I know we shared a lot of our relationship. I want you guys to be filled in on everything that’s going on, it’s just we’ve been trying to take a moment between us to just process everything.”
Earle concluded her video by thanking fans for their support during this challenging time.
“I know there’s going to be a lot of ups and a lot of downs, and I’m not really sure what to expect with how I am going to handle this,” she said. “It’s going to be a new chapter.”
