Kelce’s contract with the Chiefs expired at the end of this season

TOM Brady has shared a message with Travis Kelce ahead of his retirement decision.

It is widely anticipated that Kelce will end his NFL career this offseason.

Kelce has weighed retirement in the past, nearly doing so last year.

However, he returned to the Kansas City Chiefs to play the final year of his contract.

Kelce’s contract is expiring after this season, and it could be the perfect time to call it quits.

If anyone knows a thing or two about grappling with a retirement decision, it’s Tom Brady.

He retired and then changed his decision in 2022 to return to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

Now in retirement full-time, Brady has a message for Kelce while he mulls over his decision.

“He doesn’t need my advice,” Brady told ET.

“The guy has had a Hall of Fame career without any of mine, he doesn’t need it now.

“He’s a stud, man. What a great player he’s been. He could still play.

“He looked great this year and I thought it was one of the best year’s he’s had in a long time.

“I love watching him play. I love his personality. I love his temperament. I love his competitiveness.

“He’s one of the all-time greats that ever played this game.”

Kelce returned to play this year because he didn’t want to go out on a low note to end his career.

He could feel the same way this season after missing out on the playoffs.

Kelce is going to take a few weeks to see how his body feels before making his decision.

“I think right now it’s just finding that answer and see how the body feels after all this settles down,” he said on the New Heights Podcast.
