The franchise is also set to play two games in London
A HISTORIC NFL franchise has confirmed that it is set to relocate 150 miles away.
The NFL franchise is preparing for a $1.4 billion stadium project to finally start.

The Jacksonville Jaguars have shared plans for a $1.4 billion stadium upgrade

The Jaguars are planning to upgrade EverBank Stadium
It has been confirmed that the Jacksonville Jaguars are preparing to relocate.
They are set to leave Jacksonville, Florida, for the 2027 NFL season.
It has been confirmed by News4JAX that the franchise is intending to play their games 150 miles away in Orlando, Florida.
“The team has given the city confirmation it will play home games there in 2027,” an Orlando City Council member said.
Orlando’s Camping World Stadium is the leading contender to host the Jaguars in 2027.
It is only a temporary measure as the Jaguars begin construction on their $1.4 billion upgraded stadium.
The Jaguars are among a wave of NFL teams looking to build new stadiums over the coming seasons.
No fewer than seven NFL teams are planning future moves away from their current venues.
This includes the Kansas City Chiefs leaving Missouri after more than five decades at Arrowhead Stadium.
Likewise, the Chicago Bears have threatened to leave Illinois as they plan to construct a replacement for Soldier Field.
The Buffalo Bills are set to lead this wave as they are selling off items from Highmark Stadium ahead of their move in 2026.
Renovations are now due to take place at the Jaguars’ EverBank Stadium ahead of the 2026 season.
This will mean that the venue will drop from a 67,814 capacity to just 43,500.
The Jaguars are also set to play two home games at London’s Wembley Stadium during the 2026 campaign.
Wembley will also stage college football as it hosts the Kansas Jayhawks versus the Arizona State Sun Devils in September 2026.
These plans are expected to keep the Jaguars in Jacksonville for many years to come.
The Jaguars have missed out on the chance to play in front of a full capacity EverBank Stadium again following their playoff loss.
They suffered a 27-24 loss to the Bills at EverBank Stadium in the NFL’s Wild Card playoff.
