Food brands can’t shake off their excitement for Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce’s engagement news.

When the pop superstar and Kansas City Chiefs tight end shared images of their romantic garden proposal on Tuesday, Aug. 26, food and beverage names lit up social media with cheeky responses to the couple’s big moment.

Starbucks poked fun at the timing of the announcement, which came the same day the coffee chain launched its fall menu — including the much-anticipated return of the Pumpkin Spice Latte.

“Are we supposed to keep talking about PSL like nothing happened???” read an Instagram post from the coffee chain shortly after the news broke.

“The long list of starbucks lovers just got a +1,” read the accompanying caption, a nod to the line “Got a long list of ex-lovers” in Swift’s hit “Blank Space” from 2014’s 1989.

Starbucks also shared an image of a pumpkin posed to look as though it’s vomiting on its Instagram Stories. Text over the photo reads, “Screaming crying throwing up psl who.”

Wendy’s made a reference to the upcoming game Grand Theft Auto VI, posting on Instagram Stories, “Can’t believe we got Travis Swift before gta6.”

Panera entered the conversation with an Instagram post that read, “It’s a loaf story baby just say yeast,” a play on the lyrics to Swift’s 2008 hit “Love Story” that Swift herself made in a recent homemade sourdough gift to Selena Gomez and Benny Blanco.
