TRAVIS Kelce has made a clear statement over his potential NFL retirement.
The tight end is set to make a decision following the Kansas City Chiefs’ awful 2025 NFL season.

Now Kelce, 36, has given an indication as to when he might announce his plans for next season.
Veteran Kelce turned heads with his arrival against the Las Vegas Raiders yesterday.
The Chiefs suffered a 14-12 loss to the Raiders at Allegiant Stadium to end their 2025 campaign.
This marks a stunning 11th loss this season.
But Kelce has admitted that he is satisfied by his team regardless of the result.
“First things first, I just love this team,” Kelce said. “I’m proud of the way we finished this, even though it ended the way it did.”
It has been a difficult season for the Chiefs after falling short at Super Bowl LIX last year.
They have failed to reach the playoffs for the first time in over a decade.
This is after quarterback Patrick Mahomes, 30, suffered a season-ending ACL injury against the Los Angeles Chargers in Week 15.
Tight end Kelce is one of 11 players set to enter free agency following their season-ending defeat in Las Vegas.
Even head coach Andy Reid, 67, has no idea what choice Kelce will make regarding his NFL future.
But the tight end has explained that he will make a decision over the coming weeks.
“Who knows?” Kelce added. “Either it hits me quick or I’ve got to take some time. Last year was a little bit easier. I think I knew right away I wanted to give this one a shot. I don’t know. We’ll see.
“The ball just didn’t go our way in a lot of those close games. If I do choose to come back that’s something I’ve really got to focus on.”
Kelce appeared visibly emotional following what could have been his last game at Arrowhead Stadium against the Denver Broncos in Week 167.
Legendary tight end Rob Gronkowski, 36, has offered Kelce advice and said to only stay if his heart is still in playing football.
Kelce could make his final NFL appearance after being controversially selected for the Pro Bowl Games.
He will make his 11th consecutive Pro Bowl appearance at the Moscone Center in San Francisco, California, on Tuesday, February 3.
