Travis Kelce’s family knows the NFL star has found the one in Taylor Swift.
A source close to the newly-engaged couple tells PEOPLE that, “The Kelces adore Taylor,” referring to his parents Donna and Ed, brother Jason and sister-in-law Kylie.
“She goes out of her way to show the whole family how much she cares for not just Travis, but all of them, down to Jason’s kids,” says the source.
The “So High School” singer, 35, has impressed her fiancé’s family with “sweet, thoughtful gifts, flowers and bakes for the family,” the source shares. “They don’t even know how she does it all considering her career.”
The insider adds, “They’re all very, very happy that Travis has Taylor in his life. She’s entirely changed his world in all the best ways, and they’re true partners. Taylor gets along so well with the family and they’re just her biggest fan.”

And make it work, they did. The couple announced their engagement in a joint Instagram post on Tuesday, Aug. 26.
“Your English teacher and your gym teacher are getting married 🧨,” the caption read.
Kelce proposed with a ring he designed with Kindred Lubeck of Artifex Fine Jewelry. The stone is an “Old Mine brilliant cut,” which Swift shows off in a series of photos announcing the big news.

Just before Kelce popped the question, he and Jason welcomed Swift on their podcast New Heights for an episode that broke the Guinness World Record for most views in one day.
In the episode, Swift opened up about how she knew her now-fiancé “wasn’t crazy” after spending time with him, despite his unusual way of professing his interest.
“I was just like, he’s truly getting to know me in a way that’s very natural, very pure, very normal,” the singer said, adding that Kelce could make her “laugh so immediately, about normal things.”
Swift described Kelce as “vibe booster in everyone’s life that he’s in,” later in the episode.
“He’s like, when you take a picture on your phone and you put the, like you push the enhance color button, that’s what you do to everyone’s life,” she said to Kelce, adding that she appreciated how “non-judgmental” he was about knowing “nothing” about the world he was in.”
