Bills quarterback Josh Allen and his wife, actress Hailee Steinfeld, are officially a family of three.
The couple announced Thursday in Steinfeld’s Beau Society newsletter they have welcomed a little girl.
“Our baby girl has arrived!! We’re feeling incredibly grateful and blessed and savouring these early moments. Thank you so much for the love and well wishes,” the message read.
Steinfeld gave birth roughly three months after making her first red carpet appearance while pregnant at the 2026 Golden Globes in January.
Although Allen and Steinfeld, both 29, were mostly private about her pregnancy, the “Sinners” star previously shared some details in her newsletter.
“This week, I was sitting on the couch in my family room, and the reality that our little family is about to grow really started to settle in,” Steinfeld wrote in the Feb. 20 installment of her newsletter. “Of course, I have all the to-do lists (which you know I love), and I’ve been busy with research and the general life reorganization that happens when you’re about to have a baby.”
Steinfeld gushed at the time that she was having “vivid daydreams” of her and Allen’s life together as a family of three.
“But the most profound and grounding part of getting ready for this baby has been the introspective side of it: the quiet conversations I’m having with myself almost every day,” Steinfeld shared. “Sometimes I find myself asking big, lofty questions (what am I going to be like as a mom?) or having vivid daydreams of what our life is about to look like when the three of us are cuddled up in the nursery together.”
In a separate newsletter in February, Steinfeld said that her pregnancy craving was shrimp, and she was “not thrilled by it.”
Josh Allen and Hailee Steinfeld announced they were expecting their first child together on December 12, 2025.
Allen and Steinfeld first announced her pregnancy in a joint Instagram post in December, including a video of the quarterback kissing his wife’s belly while outdoors in the snow.
“It just kind of came about,” Allen said of the sweet video in a December interview with The Associated Press. The NFL star added he was “overjoyed, absolutely overjoyed” about the pregnancy.
Steinfeld also shared the news of her pregnancy in her Substack newsletter.
Allen proposed to the Oscar-nominated actress in Malibu in November 2024.
Josh Allen and Hailee Steinfeld attend the 14th Annual NFL Honors at Saenger Theatre on February 6, 2025 in New Orleans, Louisiana.
The pair, first photographed together in Manhattan in May 2023, had been dating for roughly two years when he got down on one knee.
They tied the knot in California last May.
Steinfeld managed to avoid the spotlight while quietly attending Bills home games during the 2025 season.
The Bills finished the regular season at 12-5 and fell to the Broncos in the Divisional Round of the playoffs in January.
