Bad Bunny became the first Latino solo artist to headline the event.

Lady Gaga and Ricky Martin also featured during the interval.

And now Roc Nation, who produced the show, say the Bad Bunny performance was a record-breaking one.

Although the TV audience was down from 133.5 million in 2025 to 128.2 million this time, the overall views went through the roof.

Roc Nation claim the Super Bowl show was viewed a staggering 4.157 bn times across the world within 24 hours.

That is across the US broadcast, the global TV viewership, YouTube and digital platforms such as social media.

And that makes it the most-watched Super Bowl halftime show of all time.

And while the figures have not definitely been independently verified, they represent a major success for the NFL, Roc Nation and Apple Music.

Bad Bunny’s choice certainly raised eyebrows from some football fans, especially in the US.

And some felt the decision to give him the gig was wrong.

But the figures show his global appeal – especially in the Spanish-speaking world – and justify their call.

Items from the halftime show, including a background dancer’s costume, went on sale on eBay for thousands of dollars.

On the pitch, the Seattle Seahawks beat the New England Patriots 29-13 to claim their first Super Bowl victory since 2013.
