FORMER beauty pageant queen Skylene Montgomery has been married to a Denver coach Sean Payton.
The star NFL coach has worked with famous teams like Philadelphia Eagles and Dallas Cowboys but his wife is no stranger to sports either.

Who is Sean Payton?
Sean Payton, 60, is a former quarterback but he is best known for his decorated coaching career.
He is currently the head coach for the Denver Broncos but has previously served as the head coach of the New Orleans Saints for 15 years.
When Payton took on the Saints, they were ranked as the second worst team in the league.
He was able to turn the faltering team around and gave them a fresh start with their first playoff appearance in six years.
During his run with New Orleans team, Payton lead the Saints to their first victory in a Superbowl in 2009 and helped secure nine postseason wins.
Upon leaving New Orleans, Payton had an overall record of 161–97, making him the most successful coach in the history of the team.
Payton announced he would be stepping down from coaching in 2021 but returned to the field with a new franchise a year later.
On January 31 2023, Payton accepted the position as the head coach for the Denver Broncos.

Who is Sean Payton’s wife?
Sean Payton married Skylene Montgomery, 39, in a private ceremony in June 2021 in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico.
The two met at an NFL game between the Carolina Panthers and New Orleans Saints in 2014.
After five years of dating, the pair got engaged on November 8 2019.
A native of West Virginia, Skylene earned a bachelor’s degree in exercise physiology from Marshall University in 2007.
She would then take a nursing course at West Virginia and receive an advanced nursing degree from Loyola University.
Montgomery played softball and volleyball growing up, but decided to pursue medicine for her career.
She was also a beauty pageant queen after winning the title at Miss West Virginia in 2007.
Montgomery then went on to represent her state at Miss USA contest in 2008.
She was last known to work as an assistant nurse at St Mary’s Hospital in Huntington, West Virginia.

Who is Sean Payton’s ex-wife?
Payton was previously married to Beth Shuey, 56, but the couple split in 2014 after two decades together.
The former spouses met at Indiana State University where they were both studying.
They dated for a while before tying the knot on July 11 1992.
Shuey received a Bachelor’s degree in Marketing and tried her hand at coaching at Cross Timbers Church in Texas.
She also worked as a Divorce Care leader and later became a book author, having co-wrote Beautiful Ashes.
Shuey and Payton got divorced after 22 years of marriage but both moved on to new partners soon after.
Shuey exchanged vows with her new beau, Jamie McGuire, on September 20 2020.
Does Sean Payton have any children?
Payton has two children from his first marriage to Shuey.
The former couple welcomed their daughter, Meghan, in 1997.
